So I am having this weird issue when I am charging my tablet. It seems to be putting a strange interference from my headphone jack to my aux port(It gets bloody annoying, but you can still hear the music fine). When I stop charging the tablet, the interference is gone. Any idea what's going on? (When I run bluetooth it's fine, but I need to use the bluetooth for my phone)
Do I need to ground something? Head unit, something on the aux, tablet, etc?
I'm using a 2012 N7
Sorry if this isn't the right section to be posting this in

You need to run all your grounds to the same single point, and also ground the head unit/amplifier to the same ground, and also put an extra ground to the chassis of the head unit/ amplifier and take this to the same ground point.

I never used one so I cant comment on that I am afraid .. I had same issue;s as you and discovered that by using the same earth point this eliminates the differential between the earth on the aux cable and the earth on the USB charging cable, and its that differential that creates the noise. But its quite possible that unit will work

My thought are getting the negative of the: 12 car usb charger aux cord chassis of the head deck and connecting all 3 to the cars chassis. Would that work?

Yep, you shouldnt have to get the neg of the Aux cable .. but if you still get interference you may have to .. I attached an extra earth to the chassis of my head unit just to give it a solid earth (use a good size cable)

Just an update. My problem is now fixed. The problem was with the car charger. I swapped it out for a better one and my problem was now gone
